Name: Jan Malicki
Class IIa
1.     What are your talents?
Main ability that I am proud of, is my imagination. I use it for many different activities, it helps me while reading books, gives inspiration for playing music, as well as is a fundament for many great RPG stories.
2.     What do you enjoy doing?
I find pleasure in doing many different things, such as: playing instruments, listening to music and above all creating wonderful stories together with my friends.
Furthermore, I like playing volleyball and board games. Even though these two hardly ever have much in common.
3.     What skill or talent would you like to improve?
I think, right now I am most keen on improving my language skills as well as learning some new ones. Especially I would like to pass the C1 certificate in German.
4.     What are you already doing that could be part of your CAS programme?
As far as creativity is concerned, it’s the German course I attend and which I hope will result in me passing the C1 exam in language proficiency. Moreover I master the pan and paper RPG sessions, which requires implementing a lot of different ideas for stories/characters.
Taking activity into account, I believe that very important for a fit lifestyle are healthy breakfasts, which I am very keen on.
Recently, I’ve engaged into a voluntary project „Lublin w Sieci Życzliwości” together with classmates and perceive it as a strong part of my CAS programme.
5.     What would you like to be involved in?
I would like to be involved in many different activities that would require lots of outside-the-box thinking, resulting in creating something extraordinary for people to enjoy.
6.     Describe a time when you helped someone else or helped with a cause.
During student exchange programme at my school, thanks to my German skills I was able to help my classmates to overcome the language barrier during pre-exchange time period.
7.     Describe a time when someone helped you.
As I am the class-rep I am obliged to represent the interest of my colleagues, however as a result it’s sometimes a bit of an encumbrance for me. Lately my class-assistant took the burden of organising the school trip to National Opera from me.
She managed the task perfectly as well as taught me how to coordinate contact with the teachers.
8.     About what issues do you have concern or feel most passionate?
The issue I am really concerned about is the matter of constant self-improvement.
In most of the areas of life, I find it most pleasurable to keep looking for ways of developing my skills as well as learning more skills that will be helpful in the future.
9.     Are there any local clubs or community associations in which you could be involved?
I am involved in managing my class’ interest, which sometimes consumes a lot of time and energy. Moreover, in my opinion one of the more interesting associations I could belong to, would be the Lublin RPG Group.
10.  What would you like to learn more about?
Without a doubt, I am currently very focused on developing my German skills, while at the same time learning the Spanish language. In addition to, I also feel like increasing my drawing capabilities.
11.  What have you always wanted to try but haven’t yet?
I always wanted to try learning Kenjutsu, a Japanese art of sword-fighting, however becuase there’s no such school in Lublin, I was unable to. In the future, I’m hoping to try once again, when I get such oppurtunity.
