Workcamp in history
Hello there!
This week, we've had a wonderful oppurtunity to have some real-life training in area of history during our workshop at museum at Majdanek.
Firstly, we've worked on repairing the barbed wire, which was often destroyed and rusty. Voluntary, in very hot weather. Just simple as that. It was a very good work-out though.
Secondly, we've learned a lot about conservation of artifacts as well as had a talk with a real survivor of the camp!
Next, we had typicsl walk through the whole exhibition, a very good one in my opinion.
All in all, it was a very memorable experience.
